Command-Q


Pressing Command Key-Q (Command
-Q) in most applications quits the application. You will be asked if to save unsaved changes in any open documents before the application quits. In most Mac OS X applications, closing all open windows will not close the application - you must manually quit by choosing Quit from the File menu (or by pressing Command-Q).
