SteerMouse
- Advanced driver for USB and Bluetooth mouse.
Supports
USB and Bluetooth mice.
SteerMouse
supports USB and Bluetooth mice. It will even work with mice designed
for Windows PCs. You can customize your mouse freely even if there is
no Macintosh's driver.
Adjusting
the cursor's Tracking Speed and Sensitivity.
Apple's
driver only allows adjustment for the Tracking Speed. SteerMouse lets
you control the Sensitivity on top of that. By adjusting both
configurations, you can customize the ideal setting to fit the
movements of your hand.
Mighty
Mouse becomes more useful.
SteerMouse
has convenient and unique functions that are not included in Apple's
mouse driver. With SteerMouse you can get the best use out of Mighty
Mouse. Of course SteerMouse also supports the
wireless Mighty Mouse.
- You
can assign various functions, such as a shortcut keys and "snap to"
cursor movement, which moves the cursor to the dialog box's default
button, etc...
- You can customize the scroll
ball.
- You can adjust the cursor's
speed and acceleration. (Apple's driver allows you to adjust only the
cursor's acceleration)
- You can customize Mighty
Mouse in each application.
Experience
the true ability of Mighty Mouse which Apple's driver does not support.
You can customize buttons, wheels and cursor speed freely.
SteerMouse
moves the cursor automatically.
When
a window or dialog box is activated, SteerMouse moves the cursor to a
specific location on the screen: the default button; the cancel button;
the close button; etc... You never lose sight of the cursor's position,
because the cursor does animated movement.
SteerMouse
supports the Tilt Wheel.
You
can assign horizontal scrolling, a vertical scrolling or shortcut keys.
In addition, you can adjust the scrolling speed and acceleration.
SteerMouse
supports up to 16 buttons.
SteerMouse
allows you to customize all buttons on any multi-button mouse, even if
it has 8 or 12 buttons. You can make the best use of buttons that
previously did not work on Mac.
SteerMouse has a lot of convenient and unique functions, and customizes
your mouse greatly:
- Shortcut
keys input - Assign shortcut keys. It is possible to allocate shortcut
keys based on the rotation of the scroll ball and wheel.
- Cursor
movement - Move the cursor to a specific location, such as the default
button and the close button, etc. You never lose sight of the cursor's
position, because the cursor does animated movement.
- Scroll - Scroll vertically
or holizontally. You can adjust the scrolling speed and acceleration.
- Click - You can assign
click, double-click or modifier click, etc...
- Switch Application - Display
the process screen for switching applications.
- Open - Open a file or launch
an application.
SteerMouse
is customizable in each application.
You
can configure your mouse with different groups of settings for
different applications. Find the best setting that's right for you.

Freeware
of the
Day:
Norrkross
Tint - Adjust the color balance of images.
Norrkross Tint is used to adjust the color balance of
images. Color adjustments with original color near the pixel color are
applied more, whereas color adjustments that differ in original color
from the pixel color have little or no effect. This allows the changing
of different colors separately (eg. make the gray greener but leave the
white and black as they are).
Usage
Click
in the image to add new color adjustments. You can add both colors that
you want to change and colors you want to keep constant.
Click
the color in the adjusted column in the color adjustment drawer to set
it to set the target color you want. Pixels with color close to the
original color will be adjusted to the target color. Letting the target
color be the same as the original color for a color adjustment makes
colors like the original color remain unchanged.
Tint is free to download and use and runs on Mac OS X.
